The main objective of this FOUNDATION is to create new educational offerings that promote learning in a variety of levels and educational fields, supported by a curricula rigerous academically, artistically, and physically directed to the diverse populations of the area, being the towns of Tambor, Cóbano, Montezuma, Cabuya, Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Manzanillo and adjacent towns.
By educational offering the creation of school is understood, school, scientific expositions, sports Olympics, rounds of deforestation, artistic boards, rounds for – exercises, advice, chats, clubs, workshops, encounters with foreign cultures, exchanges, special guests, magazines, conferences, covenants, in the national and international environment, and any another form that project the objectives presented by the foundation, seeking to involve and to do participants to the other educational offerings of the zone.
The foundation will enable students of lesser economic resources to be involved in the educational offerings through scholarships, offered following the established protocol for scholarships.
The proposed educational offering will be self-financed, and augmented significantly by private contributions, governmental and non-governmental organizations nationally and internationally. The fundamental goal then, will be that those and those that be formed in the proposed classrooms by the foundation, be agents of positive change, with environmental focus and the growth of an intercultural awareness. The FOUNDATION will favor the coordination of its activities with those entities governmental, not governmental, semi – autonomous and private of the related sectors to the foundation to promote the respect and the protection of the environment.
To fulfill its purpose the FOUNDATION shall be able under any title to acquire all types of goods so much goods as real estate, personal and real rights; to sell them, to mortgage them, to lease them, to sublet them, and to have they in the form more extensive possible, will be able to exercise commercial activities; to open and to utilize charge accounts in any of the banks of the National Banking System or of the foreigner; to celebrate contracts with the State and its institutions and with any another physical person Legal, national or international. It will be able to form part of other associations, to hire all types of guarantees for itself. It will be able to constitute trusts acting as fiduciary or fideicomitente, and any another activity that be established in contractual form, be with physical or legal people, like legal in the costa rican legal code. All these activities the unique FOUNDATION can carry out them and exclusively for the compliance of its end.
